Kingsgate Employees Attend Applied Net 2022
Last week we sent two team members, Ashlee Neumann and Kyla Lentsch, to Nashville to attend Applied Net 2022. After holding this event virtually for the past two years it was great to return in person. Applied Net is the largest gathering of insurance professionals coming together to learn about the leading products and services in the industry and to network with other professionals.
There were over 240 sessions and more than 80 exhibitors at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, sessions were held over 3 days and these two came back to the office pumped up to share their newfound knowledge with the team. The sessions they focused on were geared toward giving our clients the best customer experience possible. With their return we are revamping our way of doing business from the initial fact-gathering meeting to renewal and beyond!
And of course, since they were in Music City, there was just a little fun to be had at night! They got to attend a private party at the Grand Ole Opry with headliner Dierks Bentley as well as another private party on Broadway at Tequila Cowboy, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar and Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink where there was live music and the best southern cuisine!Â
Educational sessions attended by the team members focused on customer experience while interacting with our agency. Within our management system we have a number of additional resources that can help our clients connect with us as much or as little as possible depending on their preferences. We have a self-service portal, CSR24, where clients can get their policy copies, submit changes, generate ID cards, certificates, and much more. They learned how to best utilize this feature and how to market this free-of-charge option to our clients. They also learned more about processing renewals in a timely manner. When it comes to Commercial renewals, in particular, there are a lot of moving parts; reviewing schedules, payroll and sales, getting renewal applications completed and signed, understanding any changes in operations over the prior year and much more. We have a platform that can help with all of these things on one portal; one login and the client can zip through that process in less time than reviewing spreadsheets, completing paper apps, etc.
Outside of the educational settings they were able to meet with various vendors throughout the industry. Some brought the fun; cornhole games, prize wheels, virtual golf all to win prizes or received a discount on their services offered. Others were there to have a discussion about their product or service and still offered prizes but just weren’t as flashy! There was great opportunity to network with other customer service reps, IT pros, marketing specialists, accountants, and agency owners.
Getting back to in-person meetings was educational, fun and exhausting but we’re so happy they went and brought an enthusiastic attitude back to the office. We can’t wait to see this path come to fruition and keep bettering ourselves for our clients!
